Understand verification, Deal history, and Trust Rewards

Identity verification, completed-Deal history, and Trust Reward Credit tell you different things. Here is how to read them.

Verified identity and Deal history are different

Verified Seller indicates identity verification. It does not guarantee the quality of an item, the result of a service, or the outcome of your next Deal. You still need to review the description, evidence, delivery or work conditions, and Shyld Agreement.

Completed-Deal history gives context about participation in SHYLDA. An earned trust score should be read with the number of completed Deals or sales behind it. A number without that context tells you less than a number attached to actual history.

New Seller means the history is still being built

A Seller without completed history is shown as New Seller. That does not mean they have failed a Deal, and it is not a perfect score assigned before any work has been done.

For example, someone may have years of experience outside SHYLDA and still be a New Seller here. Review the specific Deal and the available evidence rather than treating outside experience as recorded SHYLDA history.

Product selling and service work can have distinct Office identities and histories. Check the identity connected to the Deal you are considering; do not assume that one record describes every kind of work the person does.

Trust Reward Credit follows eligible completed Deals

Eligible completed protected Deals can add Trust Reward Credit for Buyer and Seller. Eligibility matters: a cancelled or returned Deal does not create the same entitlement as an eligible completed Deal.

Trust Reward Credit is platform credit for use inside a future protected Deal. It is separate from your available Deal Balance and cannot be transferred to another person or withdrawn as cash.

Do not count a possible Trust Reward as money already available. Check the Trust Reward Credit recorded in your account after the eligible Deal has completed.

Review any credit applied before you agree

Available Trust Reward Credit can be applied during Secure with Shyld. Where the Buyer covers a Protection Fee, credit applies to that fee first, then to an eligible protected Deal payment. Review the actual application and remaining amount before accepting.

Applying credit does not reduce the agreed Deal amount due to the Seller or change the release, Dispute, or return rules. It also does not turn an otherwise unprotected arrangement into a protected Deal.

Verification, Deal history, and Trust Rewards each serve a different purpose. None replaces the basic steps: agree clear terms, activate Shyld protection, keep evidence with the Deal, and follow the applicable review and release conditions.

A teal bookmark highlights one row in an agreement folder while other amount rows remain separate.
